Add a tenant for each client. Owners and admins see every tenant; members and viewers only see the tenants they are granted.

Built multi-tenant
Isolate clients, grant tenants per member or viewer, and run cross-client rollup reports. Members assign licenses only on granted tenants; viewers are read-only on their grants.
Audit evidence on demand
Export entitlement and consumption summaries, change history, and tenant or org-wide evidence packs covering Windows Server, SQL Server, Microsoft 365 seat, and VMware vSphere compliance.
Find waste
Dashboards surface over-licensed Windows Server hosts and reclaim or edition-change opportunities. Microsoft 365 seat summaries show what is purchased but unassigned.
Recommendations you control
Nothing changes until you apply it. Override assumptions and attach notes so auditors see the context behind each decision.
API and webhooks
A public read API for compliance and inventory ships today, along with outbound webhooks. OpenAPI lives at /api/v1/openapi.json. Native ConnectWise, Autotask, and RMM adapters are on the roadmap.
Tenant-scoped security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is tenant-scoped with least-privilege roles and an audit log.

Ask your AI assistant about any client's licensing
Connect License Ninja to Claude, ChatGPT, or Microsoft Copilot Studio over MCP. Ask who is out of compliance, what a planned migration will cost in licences, or which Software Assurance renewals are coming up, and get answers backed by the same rules engine as the app.
- Numbers from the rules engine
- The assistant reports License Ninja's calculations with the ruleset version and a link to the same figures in the app. It doesn't guess licence counts.
- Plan changes in conversation
- Describe a migration or paste a change plan. The assistant stages it as a project and shows the compliance and purchase impact before anything is applied.
- Read-only by default
- New connections can only read. An organization owner or admin switches on staging projects, changing inventory, or exporting audit evidence per connection.
- Acts as you, on the record
- The assistant only reaches tenants you can access. Applying a project or decommissioning servers needs your confirmation, and every change is recorded in the audit log.
